Ár Seirbhísí / Our Services

Oibreoidh SPT le pobail;

  • go mba mhian leo úsáid an Ghaeilge (nó mionteanga pobail eile) a chaomhnú ina bpobail,
  • go mba mhian leo an Ghaeilge (nó teanga pobail eile), nach bhfuil in úsáid an oiread agus a bhí, a athréimniú nó
  • go mba mhian leo úsáid na Gaeilge (nó mionteanga pobail eile) a leathnú amach.

Déantar seo trí phróiseas 5 chéim phleanála teanga SPT:

  • Céim a 1 - Taighde
  • Céim a 2 - Anailís
  • Céim a 3 - Plé Poiblí
  • Céim a 4 - Forbairt an Phlean
  • Céim a 5 - Cur i bhFeidhm agus Monatóireacht

Oibreoidh SPT, chomh maith, le húdaráis san earnáil phoiblí a bhfuil cúraimí cothaithe teanga orthu chun a chur ar a gcumas polasaithe agus treoirlínte a chur le chéile, a ligeas doibh na cúraimí seo a chomhlíonadh. D'fhéadfadh go mbeadh na heagrais seo i réimse an oideachais, réimse na pleanála áitiúla agus réigiúnda, sa riarachán áitiúil agus réigiúnda agus d'fhéadfadh go mbainfeadh sé leosan atá páirteach i riarachán rialtais lárnaigh.

Divide

SPT will work with communities

  • who have expressed a wish to stabilise the use of their community language within their community,
  • who want to restore a language which may have fallen into various degrees of disuse, or
  • who want to expand the use of a local / minority language.

This is done through SPT's 5 step language planning process:

  • Step 1 - The Research phase
  • Step 2 - The Analysis phase
  • Step 3 - The Public Discussion phase
  • Step 4 - The Plan Development phase
  • Step 5 - Implementation and Monitoring phase

SPT also work with public sector based authorities who have responsibilities for language maintenance to enable them to formulate policies and guidelines to allow these bodies to fulfill these obligations. These bodies may be in the fields of education, local and regional planning, local and regional administration and those involved in central government administration.
